That Time I Lugged a Stone to Church on 9/11
Last year, I began lugging a stone on a wagon around Los Angeles to show the burden that racism places on the black psyche.
It got kind of awkward when I lugged that stone on stage while I sang at church on September 11. Since September is just around the corner, I thought I'd share that story.
In this episode, I tell that story, share some songs for cuffing season, and share a resource for learning about racial justice.
I hope you enjoy.
